What to Expect at Your Intake Appointment

Going into treatment can be scary. You are going into an unfamiliar place with people you don’t know. We do our best to make sure you are comfortable and feel welcomed.

The Admission process starts with a phone screening. You will speak with an Admissions Coordinator who will ask some questions to assess your needs. They will also review payment options. If you have insurance, the Coordinator will get your insurance information, run your benefits and schedule an appointment. Next day appointments are available. In some cases, we may be able to get you in the same day.

When you come for your intake appointment make sure you have your insurance card and a picture ID. It is important to be on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment we can not guarantee your appointment and you may have to reschedule. During your intake appointment you will check in with the Intake Coordinator. The Intake Coordinator will give you paperwork to complete, have you sign any necessary insurance forms and give a urine sample.

**Please note: The results of your urine test do not have an influence on your acceptance to the program.**

After we receive the urine results, you will meet with an Intake Counselor who will do a full assessment. This is where your treatment recommendations are discussed and your individualized treatment plan is made.
